In ‘What Lies Beneath’, I explore the hidden landscapes of human experience—those emotions and stories we often keep beneath the surface. Through layered textures, contrasting light, and abstract forms, my work seeks to reveal the tension between concealment and expression, evoking the vast, often unseen emotional terrain within each of us. Using oil and cold wax, I build and scrape back layers to physically uncover what lies beneath, mirroring the unpredictable emergence of inner truths.
